It is all a God thing for Ethiopian Outreach Ministry to come to existence
and grow through the years to serve Ethiopians around the world for the
glory of God.
When brother Melese came to the United States to pursue his studies, he did not imagine he would be starting a ministry that has impacted so many lives. Hundreds of thousands of Bible Study publications, tracts and tapes have been produced and distributed in the twenty years of our service. Hundreds of radio programs were broadcasted to literally millions of Ethiopians. Now God is taking us to another level to spread the gospel and strengthen believers with sound teachings of the Bible. Recently, a great opportunity was presented to us by a Christian radio broadcasting company that carried our twice-a-week programs in the past. This door God opened for us will enable us to broadcast seven days a week to Ethiopia and to all the neighboring countries. We have learned that the signal of the radio is specifically assigned to the East African region and has a clear transmission. An overwhelming majority of the Ethiopian people in Ethiopia and neighboring countries have access to shortwave radio, so there is not a more effective way to fulfill the Lord’s command to go and make disciples in all nations than using the shortwave radio.

radio:
 Millions of people can
be reached at one time by one station.
Ethiopians in more than
four countries can be reached at one time.
Our program can reach
into countries which would not normally broadcast it for political reasons.
Non Christians are attracted
because of the Biblically sound teachings and culturally sensitive messages
that can be applied to daily life.
Broadcasting on short
wave radio is very economical, reaching a vast audience.
EOM has been able to reach millions with the saving gospel of Jesus Christ through the generous support of a few believers and a couple of churches. It costs only $50 to buy the 30-minute airtime every day. Imagine sharing the message of Christ to millions of Ethiopians for ½ hour for only $50!  Brother
Melese is ministering to  Ethiopians
in three Middle Eastern countries, Yemen, Lebanon and Jordan, from July
15 through August 5. Every summer, Rev. Wogu makes these trips to
evangelize, and to teach and equip church leaders. The church in
Sana’a, Yemen has been growing stronger spiritually in the past few years
because the leadership team is dedicated to focusing on teaching
and equipping the believers. The Holy Spirit continues to strengthen the
church and add new believers to the body of Christ. Brother Melese’s last
stop is Amman, Jordan (Aug. 2, 3 and 4). Ethiopian believers in the city
of Amman are growing and it is brother Melese’s first visit to the fellowship
|
of service and give the Lord all the glory and
honor for all that have been accomplished. It will also be a time
of
recognition of the hundreds of brothers and sisters and churches who have stood by the side of this ministry praying, encouraging, serving at different capacity and supporting financially. Pray with us as we work on the details of the program. We will inform you of the progress in the coming months.

 Due
to the large volume of our printed materials produced through out the year,
we desperately need a folding machine that is reliable, efficient and durable.
It will also help us save a lot of God’s money by doing the job in our
own office. When you consider this project, remember the difference you
can make in the process of producing life changing gospel messages that
are circulated worldwide.
 BOOK PRINTING:
There
are still tens of thousands of Ethiopians that have not gotten a chance
to read brother Wogu's newest book, "GIFTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT-IDENTIFICATION
AND PROPER APPLICATION". This book, popular especially in Ethiopia, can
be reprinted in large quantities with your special contribution. "GIFTS
OF THE HOLY SPIRIT..." attempts to answer the questions of many Ethiopian
believers who have been confused by teachings based on experience rather
than Scripture. Since we announced the publication of this book, many have
responded with great excitement, because it will help the church to refocus
on the basics of Christianity by rooting believers in the Word of God.
You can take this project individually or through your church missions committees, Sunday School classes, or growth groups. Let us come together and make a difference. help us replace one of our older systems. Certainly, they have made
a difference by enabling us to produce quality Christian teaching materials
